Dr. Rick Adams

Dr. Rick Adams has been an active volunteer for NAMI Fresno for the last 10 years in helping facilitate our Faming Support group every month.

Dr. Adams is a graduate from Fresno state and received his PHD from Psychological Studies Institute in Palo Alto. He worked in several Bay area Hospitals doing individual and group therapy. His other interests and studies led him into testing the Developmental Disabled at The Regional Center in Northern California.

Dr. Adams returned to Fresno in 1988 where he perused a career at Community Medical Center and still practices at Community Regional Medical Center the former Community Medical Center. He is the past President of the S.J. Psychological Association. Dr. Adams is a respected and well known Doctor in our community and NAMI is very proud to be associated with.

Dr. Adams has helped provide numerous families and loved ones of the severally mentally Ill with much knowledge, support and most of all hope. The NAMI community would like to extend our gratitude for all his dedication over the years. Congratulations Dr. Adams and THANK YOU!
